
The “Estate of the Art” in sport, that’s how they described the latest generation of Audi A6 Avant; after it has received some aftermarket treatment from ABT Sportsline. Say hello to the new ABT AS6 Avant which features both performance and design upgrades.
“This estate stands for lifestyle and power. Which is also going to be honored by the driver behind you”, Hans-Jurgen Abt clarifies. The CEO of the now 115 years old company adds: “The vehicle shows all of our experience in tuning.”
The Audi A6 Avant receives a number of cosmetic upgrades that further accentuate its dynamic and sporty look. The upgrade includes a new front apron, side skirts, a roof spoiler, and a rear apron that integrates with the four exhaust pipes.
The performance enhancements include upgrades on the three engine variants of the Audi A6 Avant. First with the base 3.0L V6 turbo diesel; output increases from 204 hp to 240 hp. Second is the stronger version of the TDI with the standard 245 hp, it now makes 300 hp. And last, for the 3.0L V6 gasoline TSI, the output bumps from 300 hp to 420 hp allowing the ABT AS6 Avant to accelerates from 0-100km/h (62mph) in 5.0 seconds.
To compensate with the great increase in power, the new ABT AS6 Avant rides on custom design alloys available in 19, 20 or 21 inches, wrapped in performance tires.
